An open-ring design where the band takes the sculpted form of a serpent — a motif that has appeared in fine jewelry since Greco-Roman Egypt, through Art Deco reinterpretations, and into modern Cartier and Bulgari archives. The serpent is a symbol of renewal, wisdom, and feminine strength.

On this ring, the serpent body is rendered in S925 sterling silver, and the head is replaced by a 9mm natural-gold South Sea pearl held on a polished cradle. The open band makes the ring adjustable, and the silver + gold combination gives it more visual rhythm than a single-tone solitaire.

  • Pearl Type — South Sea golden pearl (Pinctada maxima)
  • Pearl Size — 9 mm
  • Pearl Shape — Near-round
  • Pearl Colour — Natural golden (undyed)
  • Metal — S925 sterling silver
  • Form — Open ring, adjustable
  • Motif — Serpent body
  • Size Range — US 5 – 9 (adjust by gentle squeeze)
  • SKU — ER-SSG9SN

The ring is open-band — adjust by gently squeezing or opening the band with your fingers. Avoid pliers; the sterling silver is malleable but can develop stress marks if over-bent.

  • On the index or middle finger — the serpent form reads best on a more assertive finger
  • Solo — let the sculpture breathe; don't stack right next to it
  • Paired — with a slim silver band on an adjacent finger, not the same hand if you want the serpent to carry
  • Adjust sparingly — frequent re-sizing will fatigue the band over time; find your size and stay
  • Wipe the pearl with a soft cloth; polish the silver with a silver cloth (skin oils tarnish silver over months)
  • Store flat in the pouch — open-band rings pile easily and can deform under weight
  • Avoid perfume, chlorine, saltwater, and cosmetic contact
  • Never ultrasonic — the open band can vibrate free and the pearl peg can loosen
  • Contact support for a free re-polish within 12 months if the silver tarnishes heavily

The Echovelle Story

A Motif Older Than Fine Jewelry

The serpent has been a jewelry language for three millennia — we updated it with a gold pearl and an adjustable band.
A Motif With LineageNatural-Gold, Not TreatedA Ring Built For Daily Wear

A Motif With Lineage

Greco-Egyptian serpent rings date from 300 BC. Cartier reimagined the form in 1910. Bulgari built their Serpenti house on it in 1948. We kept the sculpt restrained and let a pearl replace the eye — softer, warmer, more everyday.
